1. Introduction

The treasures to find are the people, events, and situations around you that correspond to the signs and planets highlighted during the Hunt. Highlighted refers to the 10 minutes that a planet is on the angles (Midheaven and Ascendant), or when the angles have moved to the next sign.

2. How to play hunt game

First printout the table generated from the birth data and hunt location. Then, take the printout with you and go to a place where many people are coming and going (a shopping mall or busy cafι) to play the hunt game. Play the game with friends, it's more fun. Walk around; you'll need to know what time it is and have the Hunt table printout with you. Because a planet or sign is only highlighted for a few minutes, you will probably use the first forced level of play: practice rulerships of planets and signs; however, you'll be pleasantly surprised when you see people and situations that fit the highlighted planet or sign.

Use all senses, pay attention to everything that is going on within you and around you. Look, listen, and feel -- use all four elements.

Hint: Note the change in sounds and sights when angles (ASC & MID) change signs.

The Hunt takes place on three levels; I'll use Uranus highlighted (on the ASC or MID) to illustrate the three levels:

level 1. FORCED _____

Decide what type of things, people, and situations are ruled by Uranus. Look for these things, people, and situations: radical ways (latest or forgotten very old), individualistic, eccentric, egalitarian, rebellion against old constraints for humanitarian principles, sudden awakening change.

level 2. AWARENESS_____

You might suddenly realize that you've been checking the time on a watch that is very old fashioned or of the latest technology. Hey! this is astrology you're working with, a very old art that uses radically different ways of interpreting life than conventional psychology does.

level 3. EVENT_____

What a coincidence! Two boys nearby are playing a computer game while an elderly couple skips past you.

5. How to use the tables created by clicking on the Show me hunt table button

Printout hunt tables for reference during game.

At the top of the table following the title Astrology Treasure Hunt is the start time, date, and place of the hunt that you entered. Below is the Natal (birth) data.

Below the Natal data is a table with seven columns. The first column on the left is the time in 10 minute increments. The column is head DST (daylight savings time) or Standard depending on the hunt data you entered.

The next column headed ASC is the ascendant for each of the 10 minute increments. The ASC is calculated for the date and place of the hunt that you entered.

The column to the right is the MID (midheaven) column, calculated the same as the ASC above.

To the right of the MID column is the SIGN column. This column records when the ASC or MID changes sign.

The HUNT column next, records when the planets for the hunt date, time, and place are on the angles (ASC and MID). For example, MOOa means that the Moon for the time listed in the first column is either on the Ascendant or Midheaven. JUNm means that the asteroid Juno is either on the current MID of opposite it.

The NATAL column records when the planets of your natal (birth) chart are on the current ASC or MID.

Use the Observation column to enter your comments during the hunt.

Below the Treasure Hunt table is an aspect grid of Hunt to Natal planets - with planet zodiac positions.
